Clearhaus, founded in Denmark in 2011, aims to offer a simple solution for small and medium-sized businesses. More than 7,500 European merchants currently use the provider for their Visa and MasterCard transactions. The company's pricing structure is based on a percentage of each transaction, differing for locally or foreign issued cards, with a minimum fee per transaction. There is no setup fee.
Clearhaus offers payment solutions for online merchants and mobile apps. Customers can view all transactions through an easy-to-use dashboard after integration.
For integration, the company uses its own infrastructure with different APIs. Clearhaus supports various gateways, such as Paylike, Quickpay or Epay.
Early 2017, Clearhaus acquired a 33% stake in Copenhagen Cooperative Bank. The fintech company, currently holding around 20% of the Danish market, is aiming at offering a all-in-one solution, integrating both banking and payment services.
